Eric Clapton

Well
Hell, what can I say. I've listened to Clapton for as long as I can
remember. The man is amazing!
In
May of '98 I saw him play at The Palac of Auburn Hills.
It
was the coolest show I had ever been to. He didnt' leave the stage
for 2 hours. I think the coolest thing about Eric Clapton is that
he has been making music for over 30 years and each album captures what
is going on at the time in the music industry but there is still great
guitar on every track! For example, Pilgrim (his latest album) has
excelent guitar work with R&B and Rap beats behind it.
"'Nothing but my soul to save,
from the cradle to the grave'...It was one of those
things, you wake up in the middle
of the night, run downstairs and write it down.
What it means, I think, is that
the music I'm making here has been my motivation.
It's the thing I've turned to,
the thing that has given me inspiration and relief, in all
the trials and tribulations
in my life."
